Certified Home Inspector Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Michael spent over 15 years in the trades industry in various forms. He found although he enjoyed project management and estimating, most of all he enjoyed being hands on at the work site with clients, assisting them in achieving their visions and goals.
Knowing that he wanted to try something new, and with his passion for working with people, Michael entered the insurance industry and received his full Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker degree. He soon found himself inspecting homes as an insurance broker and advising his clients on what insurance companies are looking for when they insure their homes. Attention to detail is critical in the insurance profession so it was a natural fit when he saw an opportunity to be a part of the Canadian Residential Inspection Services family as a Franchisee in the Halifax location.
